XYMOGEN Ranked Among the Nation's Fastest Growing Private Companies for the Ninth Time
Orlando, FL. – September 22, 2016 – Orlando-based health sciences company XYMOGEN has recently been recognized for the ninth time on Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000 list as one of the fastest growing and best-run private companies in the nation.
XYMOGEN joined the “Honor Roll Alumni” in 2012, which is the elite group of companies who have made the list at least five times. It has now appeared nine times in the last ten years, putting it among only five percent of the current 5000 honorees to be featured nine or more times.
“I am honored that our continued growth has allowed us to earn spots on this prestigious list year after year, and I don't see us slowing down anytime soon,” said XYMOGEN CEO Brian Blackburn.
Over the last three years, XYMOGEN has added more than 200 jobs and seen 70 percent growth. At $78.9 million, XYMOGEN’s year-end revenue for 2015 is in the top 15 percent of those included on this year’s list.
“Based on the extraordinary growth of both XYMOGEN's infrastructure and team, we are now well-positioned to fulfill orders in manufacturing, our fastest growth division,” said Blackburn. “XYMOGEN has also received commitments from three of its European biotech partners to become the exclusive manufacturer for a series of patented and proprietary ingredients.”
Inc. 5000 ranks companies by overall annual revenue growth over a three year period, and is described as the “place where future household names make their mark.” Notable alumni from previous lists include Microsoft, Under Armour, Pandora and Zappos, to name a few.
