XYMOGEN in Elite Group, Named Tenth Time to Inc. 5000
Orlando-based health sciences company XYMOGEN has recently been recognized for the tenth time on Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000 list as one of the fastest growing and best-run private companies in the nation. . It joins the elite ranks of only 5 percent of companies to be listed 10 times or more.
XYMOGEN's 2016 revenue was $91.2 million and three-year growth was 55 percent. XYMOGEN’s CEO and founder, Brian Blackburn said:
"We are closing in on $1 billion in revenue. It is so exciting to be moving the nutraceutical industry forward with our innovative programs and exclusive formulas."
The growth has meant that XYMOGEN will expand physically too. Just this month, the company has acquired a lease on an additional 100,000 square-foot facility next door to its already massive 136,000-square-foot headquarters in Orlando, Fla.
The new building will house XYMOGEN LOGISTICS, a department within XYMOGEN that will manage shipment of its formulas and services. Included in this expansion will be a larger cold storage that will make way for more temperature-controlled products such as probiotics to be stored properly. The additional space will also allow the company to increase the capabilities of its digital printing, design, and business solutions subsidiary XYMOPrint.
"As the only high-quality formula manufacturer which exclusively distributes through practitioners and controlled patient-direct ordering, we know that demand will increase and we will continue to grow," Blackburn said.
Inc. 5000 ranks companies by overall annual revenue growth over a three-year period, and is described as the "place where future household names make their mark." Notable alumni from previous lists include Microsoft, Under Armour, Pandora and Zappos, to name a few.
