Brian Blackburn
CEO, Founder of XYMOGEN® As CEO of XYMOGEN®, Brian guides the
company's growth and success in close cooperation with
executive management and the board of directors. He
began his career in the physician based, nutritional
sciences industry more than 25 years ago, focusing
primarily in the areas of Research & Development and
Natural Ingredient sourcing. In 2003 he
researched, developed and launched the XYMOGEN® line of
professional formulas. Prior to launching XYMOGEN®, Brian
was President of the most successful independent
distributorship for the largest company in the
practitioner-based nutrition market. Building on his
background in Biochemistry and Post-Graduate Education,
Brian has developed Functional Medicine Continuing
Education Programs that have been presented extensively
to thousands of physicians across the U.S. since 1995.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from
John Carroll University.

David Perlmutter, M.D.,
Chairman of the Medical Board of Advisors & Chief Neuroscience Officer
David Perlmutter, MD, FACN, ABIHM is a board-certified neurologist and Fellow of the American College
of Nutrition. He received his M.D. degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine, which honored
him with the Leonard G. Rowntree Research Award. After completing his residency in Neurology at the
University of Miami, Dr. Perlmutter entered private practice in Naples, Florida, where he currently
serves as Medical Director of the Perlmutter Health Center and the Perlmutter Hyperbaric Center.
Dr. Perlmutter also serves as Adjunct Instructor at the Institute for Functional Medicine in Gig Harbor,
Washington. He is recognized internationally as a leader in the field of nutritional influences in
neurological disorders.

Mike Mahoney
Vice President, Medical Education and Marketing XYMOGEN®
Mike oversees the development and execution of XYMOGEN®'s
Sales and Strategic Marketing initiatives and works
closely with the company's well tenured consultant sales
team. Mike brings a wealth of industry knowledge that
encompasses 14 years of experience in the fields of
nutrition and natural medicine. He has cultivated
relationships at high levels in a large number of
medical offices, hospitals and institutions across the
country. His contacts and highly regarded reputation in
the industry are well known as he is a sought after
speaker and consultant. He received his Bachelor of
Science degree in Exercise Physiology from Fort Hays
State University.

Bettina
Newman, R.D. has been XYMOGEN's Medical Writer, Technical Support Specialist, and Functional Medicine Consultant since the company's inception. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BSFN from SUNY College at Buffalo's Clinical Dietetics program, which dovetailed undergraduate/graduate course work with clinical experience. Prior to joining the XYMOGEN team, Bettina worked in research at Brookhaven National Medical Research Center, in acute and long-term care settings, as an adjunct college instructor, in the Weight Loss industry, and as a private practitioner specializing in food allergies and sensitivities. Hired by Dr. Robert C. Atkins in 1974, Bettina began a 25+ year professional relationship that included Dr. Atkins' ongoing mentorship. During this time, she contributed to several of Dr. Atkins' books, magazines, and supplement formulations. In addition, she was Chief Nutritionist for the Diet Revolution Centers® and later worked within the Atkins Center in Manhattan. Bettina is the author of Lose Weight the Smart Low Carb Way.

Linnette
M. Beck, A.P., D.O.M., Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM), a primary care
physician at the Beck Natural Medicine Center in
Melbourne, Florida, specializes in toxin-induced
syndromes. A Florida-licensed Acupuncture Physician,
Linnette is nationally board certified as a Diplomate in
Acupuncture and is a graduate of the Institute of
Functional Medicine's Applied Functional Medicine in
Clinical Practice Program. She received her Acupuncture
Physician diploma from the Shanghai Institute of Chinese
Medicine and her Oriental Medical Doctorate from the
Open International University of Complementary Medicine
through her graduation from the Acupuncture-Acupressure
Institute. Linnette holds numerous certifications in
Acupuncture, German biological medicine, homeopathy,
homotoxicology, functional medicine, electro-dermal
screening and addictionology. She holds a B.S. in
Business Administration and an MBA and M.S. Management

Keith D. Bishop,
C.N. earned his B.Sc. in Pharmacy from the University
Oklahoma in 1981, and became a Pharmacist in 1982. He was
the first recipient of the Oklahoma Pharmacist
Association/Dupont Pharma "Innovative Pharmacy Practice
Award", in 1995. Mr. Bishop practiced in hospital and retail
pharmacies until 1998 when he established Natural Care
Solutions – Health Nut Rx in Oklahoma City, OK. Keith earned
the title, "Clinical Nutritionist" in 2000. He retired from
pharmacy and drug dispensing thereafter to concentrate on
clinical nutrition. His practice was voted Oklahoma City's
"Best of the Best" for 2009 in Oklahoma Magazine. Keith is

Mr. Bishop is a member of the Association of Natural Medicine

Cheryl Burdette,
N.D. received her Doctor of Naturopathy degree from Bastyr University in
2001. She completed her residency at the hospital, Cancer Centers of
America. Dr. Burdette is currently in private practice in Atlanta,
Georgia at Progressive Medical, one of the largest Integrative Medicine
clinics in the Southeast. She is the Director of the only naturopathic
residency program in the U.S. that trains in Functional Medicine and
Nutritional Biochemistry. Dr. Burdette is one of the authors of the
book, Laboratory Evaluations in Molecular Medicine. She is an often-sought
speaker and is invited yearly to present at Grand Rounds at all of the
Naturopathic medical schools in the country. |

Nancy
Eklund, M.D., listed for several years as one of
Miami's "top doctors," is the founder of the Miami
Center for Holistic Healing. A board-certified family
physician, she blends over two decades of experience in
traditional family medicine with herbal remedies,
bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, hypnosis, and
mind-body therapies. Dr. Eklund is certified in Florida
by the American Board of Holistic Medicine. She served
as Medical Director of South Miami Hospital's
Collaborative Medicine program and its Center for
Women's Medicine and is currently chair of the ethics
committee. She was Associate Professor of Family
Medicine at the University of Miami School of Medicine

Yousef Elyaman, M.D. is a graduate of UTESA (Universidad
Technologica de Santiago), in the Dominican Republic. He completed his residency
training in Western Reserve Care System in Ohio. He is board certified in Internal
medicine and is cross Specialized in pediatrics. In 2006 Dr. Elyaman began his
private practice, “Absolute Health”, in Ocala, FL. He has enjoyed implementing
his extensive training in the use of bio-identical hormones and in bariatrics,
in addition to primary care and functional medicine. Dr. Elyaman is a graduate
of AFMCP and aspires to become one of the first practitioners to be certified
in Functional Medicine.

Haase, M.D. received his MD from Vanderbilt
University School of Medicine, and completed his
Residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He is
Board Certified in Family Medicine and Holistic
Medicine, is a Certified Health Coach, a Board-Eligible
Weight Loss Specialist through the American Board of
Bariatric Medicine, and a Certified Nutrition Specialist
through the American College of Nutrition. He is proud
to have served as a reviewer for the recently published
"Textbook of Functional Medicine." Dr. Haase has a
driving passion to seek out and implement the most
effective, safe, and evidence-based health-care
solutions to proactively advance the health of those
patients he serves. He currently practices functional
medicine and is founder of the MaxWell Clinic for
Proactive Medicine in Clarksville, TN.

Douglas
Hall, M.D. has been practicing medicine for more
than 34 years having earned his Doctor of Medicine
degree from University of Florida in 1970 and his
fellowship in Obstetrics & Gynecology. He has full
hospital privileges in two Ocala hospitals one of which
he is a former Chief of Staff.
Dr. Hall is a national speaker
and author on hormone-related topics. He is a graduate
of the AFMCP course given by the Institute of Functional
Medicine and has attended hundreds of hours of
postgraduate courses in Integrative Medicine. Dr. Hall
is a passionate and innovative practitioner with a great
thirst for knowledge and understanding.

Fred
Harvey, M.D. received his Doctorate in the Art of
Medicine in 1984 from Jefferson Medical College of
Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA. A
diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine
with special qualifications in Geriatrics, also a
founding diplomate of the American Board of Holistic
Medicine. In practice for 20 years with 11 devoted to
Functional Medicine, as a holistic physician his goal is
the optimal wellness of his patients. Besides
conventional medical techniques, Dr. Harvey and his
staff at the Harvey Center for Integrative Medicine in
Sarasota, FL employ a variety of complementary health
modalities including nutritional supplementation,
homeopathy, toxic metal chelation therapy and others to
provide a comprehensive, fully integrated treatment plan
designed specifically for the needs of each individual.

Neil Hirschenbein M.D., Ph.D., C.C.N., C.N.S.
earned a PhD in clinical psychology at Boston University and
an MD degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He was board
certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology and started a private practice
in 1978. Following his introduction to integrative medicine in 1995, he became board
certified in anti-aging medicine and holistic medicine. He is a CCN (certified
clinical nutritionist), CNS (certified nutrition specialist), and DANLA (diplomat
in advanced nutritional laboratory assessment). Dr. Hirschenbein has completed the
AFMCP (Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice) program, DAN (Defeat Autism Now)
training, and Lyme disease training through ILADS (International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society).
He has lectured nationally and internationally, hosted a local radio show, and given
many TV interviews. Dr. Hirschenbein is the medical director of the La Jolla Institute
of Comprehensive Medicine in California.

Richard Horowitz, M.D. is a board-certified
internist. He is medical director of the Hudson Valley Healing Arts
Center in Hyde Park, NY, where, over the past twenty years, he has
treated more than 11,000 patients suffering with Chronic Lyme Disease
and other tick-borne disorders. Former president elect of ILADS, the
International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society, Dr. Horowitz now
serves as president of the International Lyme and Associated Diseases
Educational Foundation (ILADEF), a non-profit educational foundation
whose mission is to educate health professionals in the diagnosis and
treatment of tick-borne disorders. In addition to being a sought-after
speaker on Lyme Disease, Dr. Horowitz has published on the role of

James E. Lemire, M.D., a graduate of Tulane University
School of Medicine, is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
He is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a team physician
and by the American College for Advancement in Medicine to practice chelation
therapy. He has taught sports medicine and was team physician for several Olympic
teams. Dr. Lemire has made numerous humanitarian trips to developing countries
to offer his expertise. Currently the medical director of the Lemire Clinic in
Ocala, FL, he follows his passion to restore his patients' optimal function and
improve their quality of life through natural treatments, including nutrition,
occupational therapy, detoxification, lifestyle changes, and proven therapies
from around the world. Dr. Lemire has been practicing medicine for 32 years with
a focus on integrative and functional medicine for the last 12 years.

Susan Luck, R.N., B.S., M.A., H.N.C.,
C.C.N., is a holistic health consultant and has been a
pioneer in Holistic Nursing education. A certified
holistic nurse (HNC) and a certified clinical
nutritionist (CCN), Susan has been practicing in a
variety of clinical and integrative health care settings
both in the U.S. and abroad, and has served as a medical
anthropologist specializing in cross-cultural
perspectives on health and healing. She founded the
Integrative Nursing Institute and The EarthRose
Institute (www.earthrose.org). The later provides
education on the environmental links to children's and
women's health. Susan is a national speaker and has
written and published extensively on the role of nursing
in a holistic health paradigm. |

George R. Moon, D.C., M.S., DACBN
earned a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 1964, and a Masters Degree in Applied Preventive
and Therapeutic Clinical Nutrition in 1976. He has been Board Certified in Clinical Nutrition
since 1986 by the American Clinical Board of Nutrition. Dr. Moon practices Functional Medicine,
Clinical Ecology and Clinical Nutrition, in addition to functional biomechanics, as a Chiropractic
Physician. He practices in Naples, Florida with son, Dr. Robert L. Moon, and daughter, Dr. Trudy
Moon Eisel. Both are also chiropractors and hold Bachelor degrees in Nutrition; both are likewise
Board Certified by the ACBN. Dr. Moon's wife of 45 years, Wanda Moon, is his Office Manager and
Finance Officer.

Eve Plews, L.N.C., licensed nutritional counselor,
has been serving the Sarasota, Florida, community in her
clinic, Full Spectrum Health, since 1988. Eve studied medicinal
botany at Northern Arizona University, received exposure to
Traditional Chinese Medicine from Dr. Ming Ying Zhao in Boulder,
Colorado, graduated from Institute for Functional Medicine, and
received homeopathic training from Luc Chaltin, N.D. Eve is a
food-based clinician incorporating nutrients, herbs and medical
foods to support health and healing. She has served on the
XYMOGEN® Board of Advisors since its inception. Eve's radio show,

Richard Powers, D.C.
studied a premedical curriculum at Tulane University and
the University of Connecticut, and in 1980 received his
doctorate in chiropractic medicine. Dr. Powers, author
and Certified Health Coach, is well-versed in the fields
of biological and functional medicine, clinical
nutrition, dietary guidance, exercise physiology,
homeopathic medicine, electro acupuncture, and weight
management. He established the Holistic Healing Center
in Atlanta, and co-founded the Holistic Medical Center
in Florida. Over the past 25 years, Dr. Powers has often

Corey Priest,
D.C., earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2001 from Logan College
in St. Louis, MO. and completed post-graduate study in the fields of
Internal Medicine, Functional Medicine, Nutrition, and Autism. He is
a candidate for Diplomat of American Chiropractic Internists and is
also a Defeat Autism Now doctor. Dr Priest has been practicing Functional
Medicine for the past seven years. He is passionate about helping
individuals with ADD/ADHD, autism, autoimmune conditions, thyroid
complications, hormone balancing, and other complex conditions. Dr Priest
is co-founder of Wellness Dimensions in Shawnee, KS where he takes a

Michael B. Schachter, M.D.,
C.N.S., a 1965 graduate of Columbia P&S (NYC), is
board certified in Psychiatry, a Certified Nutrition
Specialist, and has obtained proficiency in Chelation
Therapy from the American College for Advancement in
Medicine (ACAM). He is the medical director of the
Schachter Center for Complementary Medicine in Suffern,
NY. With almost 35 years experience in integrative
medicine, Dr. Schachter is a recognized leader in
orthomolecular psychiatry and alternative cancer
treatment. He is a past president of ACAM, has authored
numerous articles and has appeared in the media
frequently. His latest book is What Your Doctor May Not
Tell You About Depression (Warner, 2006). The Schachter
Center is participating in the Trial to Assess Chelation

Raymond Solano, R.Ph, M.B.A.,
C.C.N. earned his pharmacy degree from Mercer
College of Pharmacy more than 25 years ago and obtained
an M.B.A. from Georgia State University. He attended
nutrition educational training and earned the title,
"Certified Clinical Nutritionist (C.C.N.) from the
International and American Association of Clinical
Nutritionists ("I.A.A.C.N."), a degree that demands
ongoing training for degree maintenance. Ray is the
co-founder and owner of People's Pharmacy, Inc, Austin
,TX . Besides applying his administrative skills to his
six-pharmacy operation, Ray also does specialty
compounding and gives professional consultations for
Neuro Spectrum Disorders, Hormone Replacement Therapy
and Oncology. Ray is frequently invited to speak on the
subject of Men's Health.

Frederick T. Sutter, M.D., M.B.A. is a board-certified specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Physiatry). He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, completed residency at the University of Pennsylvania and earned his MBA in Health Sciences from Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Sutter is the Medical Director of the Center for Wellness Medicine in Annapolis, Maryland and the managing partner for Wellness Medicine Consulting. For over 15 years, Dr. Sutter has been practicing orthopedic medicine, lifestyle medicine, and functional medicine and is a graduate of AFMCP.

Allan Warshowsky, M.D., is a board-certified OB/GYN whose New York-based
integrative private practice focuses on healthcare for women, with secondary emphasis on men
and teens. Dr. Warshowsky's successful therapies include nutritional therapy, vitamin and herbal
