Brian Blackburn, CEO
As CEO of XYMOGEN®, Brian guides the company's growth and success in
close cooperation with executive management and the board of directors. He
began his career in the physician based, nutritional sciences industry more
than 25 years ago, focusing primarily in the areas of research & development
and natural ingredient sourcing. In 2003, along with Will McCamy and Medical
Director, Robert Rountree, M.D., he researched, developed and launched the
XYMOGEN® line of professional formulas. Prior to launching XYMOGEN®, Brian was
president of the most successful independent distributorship for the largest
company in the practitioner-based nutrition market. Building on his background
in biochemistry and post-graduate education, Brian has developed functional
medicine continuing education programs that have been presented extensively to
thousands of physicians across the U.S. since 1995. He received his bachelor of
science in biochemistry from John Carroll University.

Dr. Robert
Rountree, M.D.
Dr. Robert Rountree, M.D. received his medical degree
from the University of North Carolina School of
Medicine at Chapel Hill in 1980. He subsequently
completed a three-year residency in Family and
Community Medicine at the Milton S. Hershey
Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, after
which he was certified by the American Board of
Family Practice. He is currently Board-
Certified by the American Board of Holistic
Medicine. He has lectured widely to the general
public and professional audiences and frequently
appears on radio shows throughout the United
States and Canada. He is a member of the adjunct
faculty for the Institute for Functional
Medicine in Gig Harbor, WA.

Board of Advisors, chaired by Medical Director, Robert
Rountree, M.D., consists of 22 experienced clinical
practitioners, representing a broad range of
specialties. It compiles and shares research and

*ImmunotiX 3-6™
is a high quality, pure, patented, GRAS ingredient
containing an insoluble, complex carbohydrate purified
from Saccharomyces cerevisiae (Baker’s yeast) known as
beta 1,3/1,6 glucopolysaccharide. FDA Phase III trials
have proven human safety and it has shown efficacy as an
immune modulator. When taken orally, ImmunotiX 3-6™
interacts with key immune cells to initiate a cascade of
immune activity designed to protect the body against
foreign challenges.
*ALAmax CR™,
a potent oxidative stress antagonist, is a proprietary,
orally active, controlled-release formulation of
racemic-lipoic acid (containing both R and S-enantiomers)
that has a pharmacokinetic advantage over other alpha
lipoic acid formulas. Other brands are rapidly cleared
from the plasma within 2-3 hours; whereas, ALAmax CR™
remains in the plasma for 4-6 hours.

LOX inhibitors differentiates Saloxicin from COX-2
